Welcome to the July update, and since summer is here in the northern hemisphere, the blurring of work and play might seem a little more intense than usual. Hey, why work when a beach is calling your name? While there’s certainly nothing wrong with this (and heck, in this business you can work at the beach!), you still need that work-life balance to stay productive and avoid burnout.
In a recent podcast I operate over at TheGrowthBooth.com, I go deep into this in Episode 74:
In this episode, I dive deep into the challenges of achieving balance in the middle of hustle culture, from the warning signs of burnout to practical, proven strategies you can employ to beat procrastination and achieve peak productivity while still enjoying life outside of work.
I publish an episode every week, and here are some other recent podcasts:
Episode 75 – Split Testing Strategies
Listen on how I use split testing to turn our business into a conversion machine. I also list my top 10 reccomendations of which aspects you can split test the best.
Episodes 77 and 79 – Life Lessons at 40 (Gasp!)
I walk through 40 lessons/realizations/learnings from my first 40 years (!!!), I trust you’ll find these useful!
Episodes 76 and 78 – “Decoding Success” Series
In these two episodes, I’ve invited guests on to hear about other peoples success stories. In episode 76 you’ll hear from Ricardo, and in episode 78 Vaughan shares his story. These are packed with gems and definitely worth a listen (or watch on YouTube).
In the pipeline…
For Episode 80 coming next week, another in the “Decoding Success” series, I’ll have Scott this time to talk about how he and his brother have built a 6-figure/month business.
Episode 81 is about the 7 Capital Sins, and how to leverage them in your marketing (they make for a VERY powerful marketing tool!).
Then in episode 82 you’ll be able to hear from Mark about his journey to online success.
If you’ve got a topic you’d like me to cover on the show, leave a comment below and I’ll add it to the list.
Enjoy, and as always, feedback welcome!
